Peru tours & Travel PackagesThe city tour begins with the panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana archaeological complex, then visit to the Plaza the Armas, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then you’ll visit the Monastery of San Francisco, this is famous for the Sevillian tile work and paneled ceiling in the cloisters, the catacombs under the church and part of the monastery are well worth seeing, You’ll visit the old colonial streets in the center of the city. After visiting Lima city we will go to the Larco Herrera Museum , 18th century colonial-style museum houses the largest and most impressive ceramic collection in the world, with about 55,000 pre-Colombian clay pots on display. The collection concentrates on the refined ceramics of the Moche Dynasty, the people who lived along the northern coast of Peru between 200 and 700 AD. The Moche culture is recognized as accomplishing one of the greatest imaginative languages of ancient Peru through the use of creative pottery, providing clues to all aspects of their civilization without the use of the written word. One can learn about their religion, agriculture, transport, dance and music through their ceramic designs and shapes. Day 2. – Lima / Cusco

Day 3. – Cusco

You will discover one of the most impressive buildings of Incan Cusco: the Korikancha (the Golden Temple) – a temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold. You will complete the day with a stroll through the Plaza de Armas (Main Square), where you will visit the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries.Afterwards we will visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pucara complex at the end

Day 4. – Cusco / Sacred Valley / Cusco

sacredvalleyYou will begin your journey toward Valle Sagrado (Sacred Valley) by enjoying the best view of the city of Cusco from atop Cerro Pukamoqo (Red Peak), a natural scenic overlook from which the outstretched arms of Cristo Blanco, a massive white statue of Christ, embrace the city in a benevolent gesture. Continuing on once more toward Valle Sagrado, you will soon reach the must-see stop of Awanakancha. Here, you will learn about the various types of camelids (Llamas, Vicuna, Alpaca & Guanacos) that live in the Andes region. Additionally, the local villagers will teach you about the ancestral methods and techniques used to produce their textile art. A few miles farther along, you will reach Pisac, a beautiful place where Incan and Colonial influences have reached a perfect balance and created the unique way of life of the local inhabitants. You will get a chance to explore this quaint town, famous for its artisan markets where you can find extraordinarily fine jewelry and ceramic and textile craftwork.You will have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit one of the last remaining Incan towns, Ollantaytambo, which was once fiercely guarded by a massive fortress. Discover the large archeological complex of what used to serve as a wayside inn for royal delegations on long journeys. Surviving structures here include multiple walls and towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible invasions.If time permitting you will get a chance to visit Chincheros town; a small town only 40 minutes northeast of Cusco, on the summit of a mountain located at 3600 meters (11,811 feet) above sea level, with a colonial church, ruins, picturesque landscapes and the best part… the women of Chinchero, who made me smile and sigh more than a few times with their simplicity, candor, beliefs, customs and one-of-a-kind charm.
